Maurice Marthaler

Director of Product Development

Maurice Marthaler has worked in the medical device field for over 10 years, at companies such as St. Jude Medical, Perclose (acquired by Abbott), and TriVascular (acquired by Boston Scientific). He has spent the majority of that time in R&D and product development, working on teams tasked with rapid development cycles. Most recently he spent 6 years at TriVascular closely involved in the design and development of the stents for TriVascular’s innovative AAA stent-graft, before moving on to help found Relucent Solutions. He received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, and is the holder of 17 issued and pending patents related to designs and innovations in the medical device field.
